John Capelin, MNASC, MICHT, BWLA Weights Instructor

Primarily a Cyclist. Starting out racing at school with Circuit Racing, Cyclo-Cross and Time Trials. Progressing through Junior Road Racing to become a Senior and taking part in Cyclo-Cross, Time Trials, Track and Road Racing. Road Racing was to the fore and competition was at all levels both Nationally and Internationally. A Brief spell competing in Triathlons followed as well as other sports challenges. Then into Mountain Biking. This is the race pedigree behind his Coaching qualifications, and the formation of the Business and the Team.

Now a Senior (Level 4) Coach with ABCC. Originally qualifying as a Cycling Coach in 1990, he followed this with qualification as a general Sports Coach. Later gaining the BCF Team Manager and Team Mechanic qualifications and in 1995 qualifying as a Sports Masseur. Further Massage & Coaching qualifications have followed. As well as time spent working as a sports masseur abroad and as one of the Great Britain Mountain Bike Team Coaches, then a Talent Coach for the South West giving top level training to young people. He has also been training new coaches for British Cycling since 2000. Also a NLP qualified practitioner and in 2005 an expert for Cycling Plus magazine.

Dan Ellmore

Dan is a highly experienced and competitive cyclist with skills in all cycle sport disciplines. He has been riding for 13 years, has regularly competed in Cyclo Cross and Elite Road Races and is a national medallist on the track.

Since qualifying as a coach in 1998, Dan has coached National Champions and many up and coming riders. Both as a rider and a coach he has achieved the best possible results. Dan is a partner is the business and he deals with organisation and marketing as well as coaching.

 

 


Helen Paull

Helen has been racing since 1999. Firstly Mountain Bikes then as a succesful Road Racer. She qualified as a Coach during 2004 and is now coaching both individuals and groups. Also with accreditation to Coach on the Track.

Prior to Cycling her sports background was Yacht Racing where she was a part of several sucessful crews. Following this she started Mountaineering, Hill Walking and Skiing which then took her all around the world. She really knows the drive that is needed to succeed in sport.

 


 

Mark Savery

Mark is an ex-Marine PTI and knows how to get and stay fit. He is able to construct routines for general fitness as well as sports specific. He specialises in general stay fit routines. Mark also coaches the younger riders who he is able to train in self organisation as well as their sports.

Also a qualified Cycling Coach. Also with accreditation to Coach on the Track. Additionally he is a Mountain bike Leader to Expedition Standard. He has competed in various events mainly with a personal challenge attached to the event. He is highly motivated and always very keen and seemingly never gets tired!!
