Winter Conditioning and Coaching camps for Cyclists, Runners and Triathletes in the beautiful mountains and coast of the Costa Blanca, Spain and the Pyrenees and Alps in France. Train in the sun with first class coaching and assistance. Our next camps are during the autumn of 2009 and late spring 2010

Coaching weekeneds are being held in loucestershire in October & Novemeber 2009. The content of these weekends will be tairored to suit the participants. Typically sportive and mountain events will be held in France, Spain, and the South of UK aimed at riders who wish to race or take part in sportives.

UK Weekend Camps

To complement the usual training camps we are holding weekend Coaching Camps in the UK. Throughout the whole of 2009, these camps will involve riding with practical coaching as well as discussions on training tailored to suit attendees needs. Mail us for details. We will advise you on hotels and accomodation in the area. If necessary, transport you to and from the talk/presentation/test venue or ride start. (NB All events that we attend are in our own name). Many other people copy us but we ensure that all our staff are qualified, insured and most importantly.. up to date!

Coaching Camps

If you choose a to have a camp in Spain or France. We will assist from just giving training guidance through to full support with hire bikes and support vehicles. You maybe just want a day or two Personal Coaching. This can be done; Just ask for all your Coaching requirements. Our Coaches are fully qualified and insured and also have a cycle racing and/or sportive background.

Accomodation is available with bike friendly B&B's through to 5* hotels. All camps will be based around a Coaching input. We will give choice so that the trip is exactly what you want. Set to your budget. Our input is the Coaching both on and off bike, and supporting you during the whole event.

We will arrange for group rides and route plans with suggested training regimes to follow in order to achieve your goals.

We have experience of several areas in Spain, Italy, France and the UK, as well as other places, that are excellent for training. You tell us where and when and we will come up with a plan. that with enough interest we will put on an event in that area. We can attend any of your events to present Coaching presentations assist with skills sessions and support rides, wherever you are.

Sportive Recce Events

The next Recce camps will be in November 2009 and May 2010. These will look at riding on major climbs and other critical parts of sportive preparation. The aim to Coach you for all levels of Sportive riding. These events give as much relevant information as possible on preparation for any mountain event or sportive.

On the weekend events, we arrive in the area on Friday night, an evening briefing/safety chat is followed by two days of supported and Coached riding on the seleceted routes. Some of these events can be extended to include Monday and Friday rides too.

A talk on the Saturday evening will cover preparation as well as specifics for the event, to include bike set up, nutrition and clothing.

The Coaching camps are essential to give you tools and techniques to enhance your training and performance. So that when you start the hard specific training you are fit in body and mind to reap the benefits.

All exercises are based around a cycle ride each day. This is not necessarily of high intensity. The quality of riding with position and use of gears and method of climbing and descending are all covered. The aim being to make you a much better bike rider.

The camps will give you the confidence and enthusiasm to get through the winter and into next year.

Pre and Post-camp ongoing one-to-one coaching is also available to support you through your personal best season and to build for future seasons!
